Ocean Fest was founded in 2019 by three surfing buddies who can usually be found riding the waves of Surf City, NC. The motivation behind the event was to share our love for the ocean, celebrate the pure joy of surfing, and, most importantly, give something meaningful back to Mother Ocean. With that in mind, Ocean Fest strives to educate the community about ecological threats to our precious marine environments and teach how we can better protect those environments.
The motto: “To Surf and Protect.”
There is an “Oysterpalooza” on Friday (including oysters from Ghost Fleet Oyster Co.) as well as a surf contest, music festival and more food on Saturday.
Join us at Ocean Fest Oysterpalooza! Your ticket gets you a dozen oysters, music, and grillables later in the evening! This event will knock your socks off with local oyster purveyors, fantastic music, exciting eco exhibits, and so much more…..!

Come jam all day with us for the Ocean! We’ll have a vendor market for you to explore, eco-exhibits for you to see and learn some new things, food trucks, and beverages of all types!
